Trying to prove oneself would suggest thinking, to some extent at least, highly of oneself!. The more one is thinking highly of oneself, the more one would be trying to prove oneself!. Trying to prove oneself constantly, would therefore suggest the person is thinking enormously highly of himself/herself!.
Apart from the fact that it would be very tyring for the person, I would not like to be around a person like that constantly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. I have been all of my life practicing what has been driven into me, should be second nature, that of continuously improving myself, toward the personal responsibility I owe the world!.
