I work to survive!. I have been unemployed!. It sucks!.

I wish I had a better job, but I am skilled at too many different things to become a specialist at one thing, so in pretty much any field, there is somebody with a better work history than me who gets the job first!.

Evolution is on the side of the survivors and adapters though, not the specialists!. Like Austrolopithecus Boisei, who dominated Africa in their day because they could eat tallgrass!. The grass died and so did they, and our ancestors , clever scavengers, took over!. They didn't much like their jobs either but they were good at them!. I'm good at my job too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have been a full time mother since my son was born!. When I worked I did not hate my job but if I did not need to go for the survival I would have quit those jobs!. At the end of the last job I was really tired of all the unfair treatment I was getting and was glad I got fired after seven years and one year of volunteer work there!. Even though the firing was unfair and I could have sued them I just let it go!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm an EMT now working in an ER (used to be out on a rig)!. I love the 'real' emergency cases that come through!. Unfortunately, society has changed ER's to urgent care/free clinics with all the free passes certain people get!. We end up being their family MD's treating sore throats, stubbed toes, cold/flu symptoms and others!. This ties up our rooms for the actual EMERGENCY cases!. I've saved some lives and always get a rush from the urgency of truly critical cases!. So, yes, I love what I do when it's actually what I trained for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm a philosophical counsellor and a herbalist and i love my work!. However, it barely earns me enough to survive on and i can't even pay rent - we live here in exchange for taking care of the house security!. I don't know what to do about this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
