Yea, my beautiful alcoholic daughter--who won't let me see my grand kids again if I dis agree or get involved with her going back to clubbing and social drinking again as soon as she delivers my second grandson!. She says she can handle drinking even though she has 2 dui's and a year of recovery where her child was with me!. Eggshells hurt!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used to all the time, growing up in a dysfunctional family!.
Son of an alcoholic, I became a pothead, then got clean and sober, sobriety was good for me, I stayed sober for 17 years!.

becoming involved with a dominant woman, had to make sure I did not offend her, that relationship didnt last at all found out I was way more dominant than I gave myself credit for!.

Now I just try to be respectful to everyone I meet, and if they disrespect me, I will try to turn the other cheek, but will probably just leave their space!. Nobody likes being disrespected, ever!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, unfortunately I have to say I do!.
I have a big mouth which often gets me into trouble within my family who can be rather touchy beings!.!.!.!.as the mother you have to be very circumspect how you deal with the problems they bring to you or the secrets they tell you, etc!.
So, yes I now prefer to walk on those eggshells and zip my lips for the sake of peace!.!.!.!

I just cause trouble all the time!.

When somebody pisses me off and tries to bring me down by bringing out an imperfection of mine I just start spilling the beans on all the dirt I know about them!.

People don't really engage in arguments with me too often!.
But I'm a high strung little brat!. Or other words have been used!.

Then other times if I feel a fight coming on!.!.!.I'll just run away as fast as I can!.!.!.well!.!.!.!.I mean get in my car and go home where I live alone!. hm!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I walk on eggshells for my best friends and my mom because I care as much about their feelings as they do about mine!. I do that "sometimes" for my Dad because he can be very insensitive to me at times so he only gets the eggshell treatment half of the time :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

unfortunately yes!.!. I even tiptoe when I'm walking! I think it's because of the way I was raised, "always be polite, always be nice!.!.!."
last week a guy rear-ended my car but I felt sorry for him so I let him go and now I have to fix it myself >_<

No!. Thats not living life the write way!. I just try to be patient and not resent those that do!. I try to show respect, but no walking on them shells for me, thats too much!.

I absolutely do!.

For some, it's something I'm happy to do for them and it's worth it!.

For others, I have to stop doing that because!.!.!.well, too many reasons!.
