Very easy!. It takes no time at all to thank someone for holding a door or to say you like that outfit they are wearing!. You don't even have to know them!. I am especially appreciative when they help someone (not necessarily me)!.

Why be so free with the compliments!? They are free AND they reinforce the person's actions!. If people say thanks for holding the door, that person will hold the door more often!. If you tell them that outfit looks good on them, they'll wear it more often!. If you let them know you saw them helping someone, they'll do it again!.

And a husband who is thanked for mowing the lawn or taking out the garbage does it with less grumbling the next time!. Try it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I dont find it hard, thats for sure!.

However, some people are stupid and ungracious because
1!. They cannot recognize a compliment if it kicked them in the face
2!. They "KNOW" they are not deserving of ABSOLUTELY ANY compliment!. Now that is very sad!.
3!. They do no know how to say Thank you and get on with life!.
4!. They think they have to compliment YOU back or change your tires or sell your junk for you!. Watch out for gifts of canned food or the harvest from their garden!.

There should be a subject in school called "graciousness", a chapter from the book of good manners!.

no even when i really cant stand someone at the time i usually can find something to compliment them on!. That is if thye dont know that i am so angry at them!. If people are nice then i can compliment them as much as i need to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
