Alienation can be good or bad!.
Alienating others who don't mean you any god is just rather wise!.
Alienating yourself from family and friends can be damaging!. The best way to deal with a problem isn't to shut people out, especially if you love them!.
the whole letting your boyfriend/husband alienate you from your fam and frens is a major one!. That's just controlling!.

If certain people, groups that are dependent upon others were to alienate a resourceful and ingenious individual, that could severely come back to bite them later when they need an out of the box thinker who doesn't require dependency upon others!. Someone who is capable of last minute planning and organization!.
I have seen this happen a lot!.
I, however, alienate myself from selfish, conceited, and self righteous individuals because they offer no value whatsoever!. There is nothing to learn from them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
