Avoid Kant like the plague, maintain a healthy diet of monism, and ask your local philosopher for a prescription of Aristotle and Heidegger!. Apply three times daily to the brain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gee, how painful! At least it must seem like a pain even though there is only pain in your mind!.

I would recommend that you become a lumber jack and work in felling the trees in some very quiet forest!. You can pretend you are not there, which will be very easy since the forest is not really there then you must not be in the forest, and listen to the trees fall!.

You will be cured in no time, plus with all the new muscles more girls will be attracted to you!. Then you can ask the girls if they would like to fell your tree!. Oh, bummer, I just noticed you are a woman!. There is no cure for women!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since the major differences in westerners' answers to philosophical questions/dilemmas are the differences between Platonism and Aristotileanism, I would start brushing up on my Aristotle!.

And if you wish to know the reasons even Aristotle got some of his answers wrong, Ayn Rand says it's because he mixed up some of his metaphysics for epistemology, and vice versa!. She's got him figured out!.

Many philosophers have disagreed with some of Aristotle without being Aristotilean!. One good example is Occam (Occam's Razor!.) He opposed Aristotle's ideas of the universals as "things in themselves," which was being touted heavily by Aquinas!. He opposed Aquinas so much he had to flee to the protection of the French Crown!. Seems he proposed the same opposition as Ayn Rand centuries later--that universals are concepts!.

That mistake of Aristotle's was one of ways he got some things wrong!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely (- but unfortunately not in the realm of the senses)!.

You could try regular doses of Wittgenstein - 'On Certainty' and 'Philosophical Investigations' have been known to be particularly effective in treating this malady!.

Remember - "Walk towards the light !"Www@QuestionHome@Com
