No, I dont think anyone can control my feelings except for me, but other people definately have an influence on my feelings sometimes!. I tend to take on the mood of others around me!.!.!.especially my husband!. If I can sense that he is upset or worried or anything, my mood usually reflects his!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

how do you know that your feelings are your own!? Haven't you ever had a feeling and don't know why!? It's entirely possible that somebody else is controlling everything about you!. You can't prove it either way!. The only reason Descartes abandoned this idea was his impression that God is so benevolent that he wouldn't allow something like this to happen to his creation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No!. They can say and do things to try to get a reaction, positive or negative, out of you, but you alone are responsible for your own emotions!. You can choose to respond a certain way!.
Example: Something someone says makes you extremely angry!. Do you fly off the handle and immediately jump down their throat!? OR Do you control your reactions and emotions and either answer calmly and intelligently or walk away!?
You may not be able to control your initial reaction, but how you let it affect you is under your control!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
