If you define 'end of the world' as a time when there are no more people, we've got 'till our first nuclear war!. If you mean a time when Earth no longer exists, we have a few billion years (when the sun blows up) or until some random space object/death star destroys the planet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com yes-when some form of global catastrophe renders life on this planet impossible or failing that at the end of the sun's life!. In about 900 million years time the sun will be so luminous that the Earth's surface will be too hot to support life and in 1 billion years time all surface water will be boiled away!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes!. The sun is expected to go nova in 5 billion years -- give or take!. At that point, this planet will cease to exist!. Culture and society are not static!. They change right before our eyes, whether we like it or not!. The will die in this respect!.
