Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes, the world will eventually end as far as we know it!. And the human race will, as well!. When that happens depends on our ability to adapt!. I don't believe in heaven in the slightest!. I think it is a way for people to be less afraid of the future, and perhaps some people need that!. As a whole, however, no outside force cares about humans or our fate!. As for the universe, I can't even begin to contemplate its end!. Perhaps it will end, perhaps it won't, but how it would end and what would happen after its end is just!.!.!.so mind blowing!. I know this wasn't your question, but as for that rumor that the world will end in 2012, there is no firm backing up of the theory!. Either we'll consume all of our natural resources or the sun will burn out or the latter will cause the former!. However, in the future, we have may technologies that are so great that we can synthesize all of our nutritional needs and find some alternative source of light (maybe man made or imported from some other star)!. If we have these technologies, surely we could divert some meteor crashing into Earth or something!. This is why capitalism is so important--it gives the impetus for developing things that the world needs or wants, but mostly wants!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, all I know is that people have been predicting that the world was going to end thousands of times, but after the predicted date came and went, the world was still here!. A bunch of people in Russia were living in a cave for years, and finally the last of them came out (they thought the world was going to end a few years back or something)!. I'm pretty sure the world will outlive you and everyone you know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com the earth will eventually no longer be able to support life as either mankind will have continued it's plight and consumed all natural resources leaving the earth barron or the sun will grow as it uses its helium core up (in about 6 billion years) becoming a red giant which will scorch the atmosphere and all living things as we know them religion and heaven are man made concepts early attempts at us trying to rationalize the creation of us, the earth and where we go when we die but also trying to guide us in how to live our lives i believe there is a 'heaven' as such because that spark that us who we are as a person must go somewhere i just don't think its what the bible or religion tells us it isWww@QuestionHome@Com It's an astronomical certainty that our sun will super nova in 4 billion years or so, the earth will be a burnt crisp!.!.!.sorry!.
