Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
MARX- in a capitalistic society, workers are alienated from each other because of:
1-materialism
2-overproduction (prices go down-> more people can buy-> market saturated-> imperialism/newmarkets)
3-loss of worker individuality
4-loss of product individuality
5-competition among workers (leads to jealousy)
because of this alienation, it can be deemed unlikely that someone in a capitalistic society would answer your question!.

ARISTOTLE- noted that "man is a political animal", hence people would be likely to answer your question!.

ROUSSEAU- from "the social contract", 1762: "no man has a natual authority over his fellow, and force creates no right, we must conclude that conventions form the basis of all legitimate authority among men"!. rousseau's thinking signifies that the answer of someone else is no better than one you could give yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
