Question: What instinct or desire would you be better without!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The desire to control other people, i!.e!. wishing that they could do things my way, live their lives according to my values and principles, make the same decision that I would make in their place, like what I like and hold my same opinions, share my world view, etc!.

I am constantly trying my best to give people space and to respect their ways, preferences, opinions, choices and decisions, but, at times, I still find it difficult to ignore my controlling instincts totally!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like to pay attention to peoples little!.!.!.!.quirks I guess you call them!.
A person who works with the deaf talks more with there hands, and with signs, someone with health problems will just act different!.

I had mentioned or asked someone I worked with one time how long she new sign language and how cool that would be to learn!. At the time I was young and did not understand social cues (like I really am a expert now!) anyhoo she asked me how I new this and never spoke to me again!.!.!.!.!.
Another experience is a man who was just not acting right and I asked a girl next to me if she new the guy (since I was new at that job) and said to this gal that guy really needed to see the doctor!. He had a heart attack the next day, no kidding!! I was not real popular, like it was my fault or something!.!.!.!.!. This is only instincts!.!.!.!.paying attention to people and there "quirks"!. Other things happened in my life and I stay home now lol!

So I wish I new how to keep things to myself better then I do!. Would make life easier!.!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
