Oh! At times, it looks like every other fellow is a philosopher! They all 'experiment' with life one way or other!. A keen observation does teach the pitfalls they face, and how they fail or come out of it!. So, they favour us in some way, being a 'real-life' example, playing villain, comedian etc! When they favour us, obviously they become our favourite , choicelessly!

Its quiet amusing to see that no Indian appears in that list even though India is a land of philosophers!. Any ways i really believe in 1 philosophy though no one knows who wrote it!. They say its lord Krishna who did!. This philosophy is known as Vedanta and is contained in The Bhagvad Gita!. why i like this philosophy is because it applies to every one in the world!. I'e always been fond of Nietszche!. Unfortunately he gets a very bum rap (and totally undeserved) because it was his idea of 'der Ubermensch' that the Nazis hijacked and perverted to 'justify' their 'Aryan Supremecy' beliefs!. (Especially spooky since Hitler, himself, was Jewish!.)
Another one that I like is Sartre!.
