i have a very good friend!. he is one of the bestartists i know!. He does drugs and has no will to do anything in life!. He might not graduate, he will probablly live with his parents and do drugs with them for a good portion of his life, and has no will to really succeed!. He doesn't have a job or car and doesn't care!. He just sits in his house and hits bowls all day!. i pity him!. He could go somewhere wih his art!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think so!. I have a cousin who I truly believe is a sociopath (some other members of the family think so to but we're a bit divided over it)!.

He has never done anything that bad, and I don't think he will!. But I truly pity him because I can see he really doesn't care about anyone, and I think his life is so meaningless!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have had pity for many people at different times but the two that haunt me still is seeing a picture of a skin and bone African man crawilng along the ground to get some food!. And seeing a well dressed man in the winter in Russia trying to get something to eat from a dumpster!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It seems to be an undervalued emotion today, as we're all supposed to be equal, but we know that this is unreal, and undervaluing pity has helped make society worse, not better!.
