Question: If you discovered what the meaning of life was, only to realize it was too difficult to achieve, what then!?
I've recently discovered what I feel could be an adequate explanation to the meaning of life!. Unfortunately, even though the end result may in fact be "meaning", the means of getting to the end result seem impossible or too difficult and the journey may be painful emotionally!. How do I deal with this!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is not too difficult to achieve!. However, you are correct that it may be a long and painful process!. When we accept that a process is long and difficult, it immediately becomes less difficult!. We take each journey with one step at a time!. This means that we only deal with what we can handle at any given time!. Suppose the "meaning" of life was to become absolutely truthful at all times!. We first have to become absolutely truthful with ourselves at all times!. This can only be done when we know the difference between absolute truth and illusion!. So, each step is a process in itself, and rarely can one achieve success immediately!. Just begin at the beginning, just as a child begins with learning the abc's before learning to read!. Eventually, no matter how difficult, frustrating, and hopeless it seems, that child will learn to read even the most advanced books, and they will soon forget the difficulty they had learning each individual step!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The only way to get through the journey is through it!. It may be painful emotionally for a while, but you can get through it, survive, decide to leave the past in the past, and learn the meaning for your life!.
I've done it and, yes, it can be a painful but enlightening path to choose!. But the rewards are so plentiful!.
Each persons meaning of life is different!. To get to it they have to be willing to delve into their "dark" side, correct what they can for the better, leave the past hurts in the past and decide to live a loving, satisfying life from then on!.
This also means taking responsibility for your every thought, word, deed and emotion!.
It can be hard to do, but be totally honest with yourself, take responsibility where you can, take back your personal power from those you unwittingly gave it to and find joy in the present!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the "meaning" of life is not the "goal" or "objective" of life!. they are two different things!. whether your not you achieve that goal makes a different person and adds meaning to your life!. And believe me , it's what YOU make it!. If you accept and believe that everything happens for a reason and just don't give up when you don't achieve a certain goal , but you just find something else and you learn from your mistakes your life will be easier and you will be a better person and thus your have will have a meaning even if it is just the fact that you are "fighting" for that goal!.

You seem to be stuck in the same loop as most of mankind!.!.!. this loop is actually a straight line from A to B!. You see what life is to you now and what you want in the future and nothing else, everything in between is a struggle to get it to B!. I think in order to truly appreciate A and B is to appreciate everything in the middle!.

Take each day as its own journey with A and B in the back of your mindWww@QuestionHome@Com

"Naturalism" says the universe has no purpose!. Aristotle said Man has purpose--his own happiness!. Thomas Jefferson agreed and told you had the unalienable right to the pursuit of it!.

Your job is not to achieve the meaning of the purpose of the universe!. It is only to achieve your own happiness!.

Do you find that to be too difficult!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
