I am a minimalist who lives with a clutterist!. Totally frustrating!. Takes mucho disciplino not to let it get to me!. I "chuck a wobbly" occasionally when the clutter gets too overwhelming!. and breathe/sigh alot!. Then clean up!. (the swearing between gritted teeth happens too)Www@QuestionHome@Com

minimal is great ,
but i have clutter :(
apparently it is symbolic of undealt with emotional issues
dont want to let go of stuff ,
things can provide a sense of security , and if your always busy tidying up your clutter, its an excuse for why you arent doing other things , like exerciseWww@QuestionHome@Com

My Cluttered Room

I tumbled over several books
that I never, once, did read
I collapsed onto old, tangled wires
That made the skin under my fingernails bleed

I found an old, melancholy fork
sitting in a three week old TV dinner tray
I found what looked like expired pizza coupons
drenched with horrific filth and decay

I stepped on a thumb tack,
piercing through my last pair of dirty socks
probably fell from a year old calender
that reminds me to turn back the clocks

I lost my keys, cell phone, and shoes
that will take me nearly all day to find
Oh, I found that receipt I'd been looking for
I think I've lost my mind

You may tell me to clean, organize
and make this clutter disappear
but, I'm not a magician

Minimal!. Clutter gives me a sense of oppression!. But I would like to be able to manage it!. Since I cannot, I prefer minimal!. (I also go for minimal since I don't feel comfortable having a lot when many people in the world have really nothing)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
