I think, I understand your motivating reason!. Something like "this sentence is false!." In which case, it is unanswerable in either yes or no, but not both; its a paradox!.

Your sentence may be disambiguated in many ways!. For instance, what are we to make of the present continuous "telling!?" Is its domain restricted to the context of the question (in which case-refer the above paragraph) or does its context reach beyond the claim made in the sentence!? If the latter, then its truth value would depend on the other features of the context!. For e!.g!., I am telling that Smith is six feet tall and I am asking whether what I am telling is true!.
