Fear is based on not realizing ones eternal constitutional position as a pure spirit soul and knowing we are not this material body IE Race, color, nationality, religion, Job, mind, intellect, etc!.) When one fully understands that we are not the doer and not the controller and not the owner of anything and that God is, and we fully surrender to Him, then ones fears disappear!. Until then one will continue to have fears especially of death!. When one understands our eternal position then we the eternal soul never dies, we only give up thees bodies!. Yes this fear is on the mental platform!. ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Fear is connected rather to the lack of spiritual growth and worldliness required for man to become one with his universe!. Fear retains man enslaved within his own mind and little cell of fear!.

Survival, existence is not living!. It is merely and simply reacting to the elements defencively, rarely allows for the thought process required for man to gain understanding and release and is an evil in itself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In lower order consciousness, fear is only instinctive and indeed it is connected with the brain for survival responses!.

However, we human beings are of a higher order consciousness with much developed ego and emotions!.!.!.!.!.!. our fear need not always be instinctive, it can also be ego-driven such as the fear of losing a partner in love or the fear of failure etc!. etc!.!.!.!.!.!.!. these kind of fears are mind- driven emotional ones, rather than instinctive!.!.!.!. and therefore these are not related to survival response of brain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fear could be called an invention of evolution!. Fear is tightly integrated into our sense of self!. If you had no fear you would do things that would kill you simply out of curiosity!. Fear keeps us from walking off of the tops of tall buildings or stepping in front of speeding 16 wheeler trucks!. The animal that has the right balance of fear with the other wants and needs will have better survival chances!.

It can be demonstrated that fear is tightly integrated in our selves as when we lose our selves all fear is eliminated!. So it is not a good idea to try to eliminate the self except under very carefully controlled conditions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I am reading a book 'Emotional Intelligence' and according to the author, in the midst of fear there's a portion in our brain that think independently (without the help from the person) to move, to flee, or to save our self from danger!. It is already programmed to our brain the first time we encounter that kind of fear, so our brain moves freely that cause us to save ourselves from any danger!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fear is one of evil's tools that it uses to lure people away from love and God into corruption pain and disease!. Humans are afraid because they have not found the truth and live in denial of their problems!. The ego is clever and we believe it is who we are and therefore follow it and it leads to corruption and pain!.

Fear is primitive and not for humans it stops true understanding!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The ability to experience fear certainly is in the brain, the biology for fear is not exclusively in the brain; the adrenal glands and pancreas or insulin gland are needed for biological symptoms for fear responses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
