Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
In my estimation the nature of belief is reliant upon what man seeks at a certain pivotal juncture in his life!. A faith system is a simply a belief in a reliable, tried and tested doctrine!. An informed and educated belief falls under this category as one is required to have faith in the results of an authors study or investigation!.

Empirical belief is learning by trial and error upon the path of life!. Erudition in matters based upon ones personal system of reason and logic!. Mans own truth!. Ultimately the path of enlightenment leads him to a collective and universal truth!.
