Though it is interesting from many points of view, i!.e!. History and Socialogy!. it must be remembered that it is a collection of stories and folk tails of past peoples who lived in a primitive world, there may well be some intelligent stuff in there, but if it is taken out of context and used to prove the belief of others then there is no reason at all to trust it!

When the faith begain some very simplistic nomadic people believed in it!. With time it gathered more supporters and when large number of people believe in some thing they become blind followers!. Jesus was a human being may be with higher level of consciousness who wanted peace and harmony in the world!. As long as Bible is used for peace, harmony and social conformity it is fine!. I do not trust the Bible but its sprit and intent is good!. The people who ardently profess it are not satisfied with the goodness of the BIBLE they want more in terms of number and power!. It is ignorance, arrogance and fear of the unknown that has set christianity in a down ward slide!. The blabbering Christian Pundits behave like frogs in a well!. Finally I can say believe Christ whos life was examplary not the BIBLE which is a creation of man!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Bible is the true Word Of God because of the authority of His Church !. The Bible, sacred Tradition, and the writings of the earliest Christians testify that the Church teaches with Jesus’ authority!. No where in the Bible does it state that the "Bible" is the only authority for Christians!. Some Christians claim, "The Bible is all I need," but this notion is not taught in the Bible itself!. In fact, the Bible teaches the contrary idea (2 Pet!. 1:20–21, 3:15–16)!. The "Bible alone" theory was not believed by anyone in the early Church!.

Scripture says that The Church is the pillar and foundation of truth!. 1 Timothy 3:15!.

Scripture, by which we mean the Old and New Testaments, was inspired by God (2 Tim!. 3:16)!. The Holy Spirit guided the biblical authors to write what He, (The Holy Spirit) wanted them to write!. Since God is the principal author of the Bible, and since God is truth itself (John 14:6) and cannot teach anything untrue, the Bible is free from all error in everything it asserts to be true!.

JESUS states the final authority is The Church in Matthew 18:15-17!. The only logical conclusion is that the Bible as our only guide is unBiblical!. The Church came first!

2-It claims to be inspired by God!.
3-It is written by 40 men over 1,500 years on hundreds of subjects yet it agrees with itself!. It is full of fulfilled prophecy that is very specific in nature!. Over 300 made about Christ - odds of just 48 being fulfilled are 1 in 10157!.

The reason I trust the bible is because of how much better my life has become since reading and applying it's principles!. If I have a question that needs an answer, by reading the bible I get answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
