I don't need vast amounts of company and, as a teenager, thought being a lighthousekeeper would suit me well!.
But then they went and automated them all!.
(and I would have been with two or three other people, anyway!.)

But some similar solitary post, where company is a supply ship turning up one or twice a year, especially now there's the internet!.!.!. I could go for that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd like to have the option of doing it for a day or two whenever i felt like it!. But not eternally!. You would go mad!. Cast-away style!. Social interaction is vital to human survival I think!. It's very hard to go on without it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
