Sperm and egg can develop what will be you!. In Texas, life begins at birth!. So, you do not exist until you are born!. Only then can you die physically!. Though of course the development of you can fail for many reasons!. You can be born again spiritually by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior!. You can not experience a spiritual death if you belong to Jesus!. Your spirit is in Heaven as soon as your body dies!. Some would argue you haven't been born until you've been "born again!."

That makes me wonder what was wrong with me in the first place!.

There is a lot of difference between them!. Being dead means there is no action, no consciousness!. But in un-born there maybe consciousness(ie existence)!.
