Without a doubt!! Hands Down!!! (2x Nobel Prize - Einstein 1X)

1903 Marie Curie - awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 1911 awarded the Nobel Prize for Chemistry

First ever woman professor at the Sorbonne

Marie met Albert Einstein at the first Solvay Conference of the world's leading physicists!.
Einstein said of Marie '[she was] The only person not corrupted by fame!.'

They were contempories and friends -
there is a famous photo of the conference with Einstein, Max Planck, Niels Bohr, H Lorentz, A Piccard, et al

The only woman Marie Curie in the front row -

(I believe the men that day were glad to have their picture taken with such a giant!!!)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Albert Einstein is Albert Einstein!. I think there is nobody that would take proportion to his great contributions to the subjects of relativity, atomic war or peace, religion and science, to human rights, economics and government!. He is one of those that have the greatest mind in the world!.

Thanks for asking!. Have a great day!Www@QuestionHome@Com

That would be his first wife, Mileva!. She co authored most of Einstein's most famous papers!. IMO, she was just as smart as Einstein, if not smarter!. Yet in early 1900 people still thought women were simply baby machines and sadly Mileva never received the recognition she deserved!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, "P",

Women haven't exactly been given the equal recognition with men due to the overwhelming male ego!.

Look en up; it'll be an eye opener!. There are many others, of course, both men and women!. I'd say the credit for discovery effecting the advancement of physics is about evenly divided between the boys and the girls!.

Maybe it's time we showed them a little respect!

Out of just the 19 names listed here, 9 of them were women!.

Hummmmm!Www@QuestionHome@Com
