Wow, tough question!. If I were single with no family, I'd say yes pretty easily!. I think the risks of the future would be worth it to me, and I certainly don't see it as any sort of abomination to nature or some god as one answerer above said!. But as it is, I don't know if I could leave my family, or put them through losing me!. As a futurist who would love to live forever given the opportunity, the future holds great appeal for me!. And I think while the world 1,000 years from now will be very different, even alien, from what it is now, I also believe that on the whole it will be much better!. I would very much like to see the new civilizations that will have arisen after the fall of the old (current) ones, the radically advanced science & technology, and mankind's spread out into space!.

I suppose given the circumstances, I might talk it over with my family and IF they approve, I'd do it!. A lot would depend on how long this offer would be open for, and what the chances are of the process actually working!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You don't know what you'll find a thousand years from now!.
You could be stuck in a post apocalyptic world where it's every man for himself just to survive!.
You could be stuck in a society that you certainly would not belong too!. The languages will be different, the customs, etc!.
And this is assuming humans will still be here!. I'm sure there will be, as in the big scheme of things 1000 years is not all that long!.
BUT!.!.!.what if the world was destroyed in an accident or contaminated as to be uninhabitable, etc!.
You just don't know!.
Time travel, if it ever will or does exist, would be an abomination to nature and God!.
The future is not for us to see as the song says, only my God knows and to know otherwise is a sin according to the bible!.
Time travel, teleportation, interdimensional travel are all concepts that are best left in science fiction, to do otherwise will just open Pandoras box!.

1) No family cause most probably all of them already dead,
2) no credit card
3) no car(or whatever mode of transportation at that time)
4) no money
5) no friends
6) Ill look stupid cause that time most probably ,all technologies are all advanced!.might take you another 1000
years just to know everything!.

I'll just be a lonely bum in that time, I 'd rather stay at home and sleep in my sturdy bed than travel 1000 years in the future :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I wouldn't!. Life is about living in the present and enjoying it!. We should learn from the past, enjoy the present, and think for the future!. I would, however, go there for a little while just to see, but I would want to come back!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
