I like to think of our lives as a play, perhaps with some improvisation!.

The main plot of the play is written and doesn't change!. The same in our lives!. the big things are predestined, like birth, marriage, kids, careers, death, buying a house!.

Then there are the little things like what we wear each day, what we order at a restaurant!. But the choices are not infinite for a couple of reasons, one: due to the situation and secondly, due to our acquired tastes!. In some cases there are no choices because of past causes!. Some say that with small things we even have no choice because of small causes!.

Then there is randomness, with which we are bombarded with all the time!. A person bumping into us, the wind messing our hair up, and these things all effect our mental state and how we behave and make choices!.

But I don't think life is random!. We don't randomly get married, randomly have kids, randomly buy a house, and randomly die!. With those things we can see that a course of events is followed, a course of events that we are swept up by!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fate is concept developed!.!.!. long ago!.!.!. by people to offer an excuse as to why their life sucked!.!.!. where someone else's life didn't!.

if v say tht a higher power exists n has control over the outcome of our lives then it is logical 2 say tht v have no control over what v do! We hear tht our destiny has already been written!. Again v have no control!. Bt others say tht our lives are what v make of it!.
