His statement sounds lake delirium, I think it is either he has no clue what he is talking about, or just high on something when he answered!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mr!. Anderson,

Mark D appears to understand that there is incontrovertible evidence that something does exist outside of our concrete world, or logic!. He does not seem to be blindly following absolutes as you claim the theologist is making!. "Maybe there is a world outside of logic!." He has shown, through the work of Descartes, that his theory of absolute certainty seems limited because, based on concrete events, we as humans to fail to realize the existance of the absolute!.

Modern philosophical thought, as he put it, is geared toward the exploration of possibilities of outside thought!. There is no blind faith there, no blind justification to validate what one believes to be the truth; people are actually trying to understand the existance of things that transcend concrete events!.

Mark D!. appears to enjoy using his mind to understand the world; he does not merely put it on "auto pilot" as many of our idiotic theolgicans and priests do!. I genuinely hope he becomes a priest as we need more people like him in that occupation!. There are too many of those who blindly believe in the word of God, denouncing those with different viewpoints without valid arguements to support their claim!. As Aldous Huxley put it a blindly followed truth is more dangerous than a well reasoned falsehood!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He is saying he does not know how to answer you except through the device of lengthy conjuntive clauses meant to overwhelm one's sense of comprehension; much like Kant!.

If I cared to break down such ignorantly lengthy sentences, I might find that he makes a point!.

But I prefer simple sentences, with clauses that are not disjunctive enought to be confusing!.

Jefferson wrote the first paragraph of the Declaration of Independence in one sentence; but it is clearly understandable!. Mark D!. is not clear!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Among Star Trek scriptwriters, his answer is what's known as "technobabble!." Except in this case maybe it's "philosobabble!."Www@QuestionHome@Com
