Question: Sometimes the opputinity of doing something is better than doing nothing!?

Definitely! For the sake of not getting anxious and depressed, it's much better to be busy at something than doing nothing!. In doing nothing boredom strikes, than comes anxiety and then depression!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Doing something, or anything at all, would involve the act of deliberation and an active use of the will of the mind!. But the will in the mind cannot be invoked until there is some comprehensible purpose or cause in view!. Doing something therefore is not independent of the reason of the mind!. There can for instance be opportunities for me to deal in shares, opportunities to buy when I should in fact be selling, then if I proceed to avail the opportunities just because it is there would bring me no profit!. Besides, it would be impossible for me to do anything where I see not point in doing!. Doing nothing sometime then could not only be a valid, but also the beneficial option, or the only option there at all!.

However it is not easy to do nothing, and to nothing at all ever is impossible!. It is just as it not easy not to think, and there would be no discovery of human mind without thinking!. But in their moderation both thinking not and doing nothing can have their benefits!. Doing nothing is just being, to think nothing is to have a moment or two for your being!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
