We have no choice but to accept that life is real!. We are given the senses and emotions that prove that in this world our fingers drop off if we put them in fire!.
To consider life an illusion defies any solution to the problem if it is an illusion!. Round in circles we go!
You could consider the pssibility of the world being a place which is watched over by other beings like we watch goldfish bowls!. Good luck to your sensibilities!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here is a brief synopsis!.

Mind-Body Problem

The "mind-body problem" in philosophy refers to the problem of having mental things like minds interact with solid things like brains, and asks what the relationship might be!.

The end result is that brains just can't exist in the same universe, or there is no logical reason brains and minds should have anything to do with each other unless the brain and very other physical things are merely imagined things!.

If the universe were purely physical like a giant clockwork machine there would be no people having thoughts just objects being pushed around, and bumped about!. If animals were only machines they would not have real feeings but would be like robots doing things without true feelings!.

There would be no mind, soul, or spirit; just cleverly arranged dust!.

Quantum Uncertainty

Quantum mechanics seems to split the universe into systems and observers; with some aspects of the world not becoming real until they are observed!.

If we assume the observer is a person with a mind, then we might say life is like a dream where aspects of the story are made up as the dream progresses!.

Lee Smolin adapts the Many worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics with a Many Observers model!.

You can if you like imaging the world as countless people all having dreams at the same time but mostling sharing the same dream by their minds being linked!.

This would be like a huge computer game where everyone shared the same simulation and new rooms were made as needed if someone explored a new area!.

The fact that a quantum universe is digital also makes this analogy apt!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think, life is an illusion!. Our true life and self is within us!. Our purpose is to discover the life within us, the soul, which is part of God!. If we live through the world within us, we can have control of it!. That's why there's an idea saying the purpose of life is self-realization!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i really dont think this is real life!. no, we're not controled by machines, but if earth was where real life was, why would it end!? i think that Heaven is true life, a life where we can live happily with God!. Earth is just a test to see whether your soul belongs in Heaven or Hell!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
