well, I think that there are several potential "once in a lifetime" loves for any person!. That is, there are several people out there that you might be able to make that connection with ---- they are each (for many reasons) suited for you, you for them!. That speaks, though, of potential only!.
The one that you select and then do the work of creating a bond with!? That 'becomes' your soulmate ---- because of the work and effort you put forth!.

on infatuation ---- it's basically a very intense chemical rush experienced when around/with another!. It has not yet turned into any real and substantial relationship (and may never ---- see the prior paragraph)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe that people can fall in love several times throughout the course of their lives!. Personally, I have loved a few men and each one for different reasons, in different ways!. I do believe there are soulmates out there!.!.!.whether everyone is meant to find theirs I'm not so sure about!. also, I don't think soulmates are limited to being simply romantic in nature!. I think people can find their soulmates through friendship and familial relations as well (not in a sexual way)!. Love is a strong, emotional connection to another person!. I'm assuming you are talking about romantic love here!.There are many kinds of love!.I don't think "once in a lifetime" is true,I think humans have pretty much an unlimited capacity for romantic love, I do believe in "soul mates" but I believe a soul can have more than one!.The difference between love and infatuation:"Love" stands through the test of times, heartaches, all the marital vows just to make it simple!.Infatuation can precede love but it's like the difference of saying "I'm "in-love" with!.!.!.!.!." I think sometimes, it happens in real life where people fall in love many times but at the end of their life, they realize only one was real love or was the one that was significant!.

Other times, real love happens more than once with the different people that people they fall in love with!.

I don't believe in the existance of a soul and I think that it has turned into a cliche but I do think that there are some people who meet people that are just perfectly compliment and complete them and their lives!.

Infatuation is temporary, not overtly significant while love is much more real and deep, and one of the greatest things in life!.

I'm kind of divided as regards the subject of love, trying to figure out whether it does actually exist or if 'love' is a mere illusion!. But I'll go with it's real for your question!.

Most probably!.
Several times - you can forget about someone after not seeing them for quite a while and fall in love with them again and again every time it happens!.
Cliche!. I think the notion is a bit ridiculous!. [If someone proves me wrong I will be happy to retract that :P]

I would like to think that there is such a thing as once in a lifetime love!.!.!.!. I beleive some people do have the rare fortune of experiencing this type of love!.!.!.my mother loved her husband more than anyone!.!.!.!.he died some time ago and she still loves him and is happy to remain 'loyal' to him in the sense of love!.!.!.!.
'profoundly'!.!.!.I think those people that do fall in love feel it profoundly even just at the time of the experience (even if it doesn't last)!.!.!.I think people feel what they want!.!.!.!.

'love and infatuation' to me the difference is a reasonable sense of love and happiness without losing yourself/selves or losing control of your life/lives in the process!. Infatuation would be the person who LOVES someone without real cause and being so consumed with the romantic idea of love that they don't pay attention to anything else even their own responsiblities and losing control!.!.!.

yes there are such things as soulmates, theyre the people who make you feel so much better when youre with them!. you feel like they make you a better person and they can make you feel happier when you are down about something!.
i think you can fall in love more than once, but there is only one true love for everyone, its up to you to realise youve found your true love when you have him/her!.
