If you get caught into the trap of conformity as a measure of success, then you will work to live!. Paying the mortgage, the bills, the car (suv), college, so on and so forth is supposedly a measure of success!. But when you seek meaning and purpose in what you do first, then your work becomes self motivating, and it's amazing how doors and opportunity open at the right times!. But one must take the courage to go against the crowd!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know Matilda, we have fallen into society's trap!. It seems we are moving away from having a"purpose" in life!. Americans especially have not achieved that "quality" of life living, like most European countries have adapted to!. They work less and play more, or have more vacation time or even incorporate naps into their workday!. It is the American nature to work work work!.!.!.!. It sucks!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that if a person has found their "passion" and is fortunate enough to have a job/career that supports that passion, then they don't see their work as "work"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
