i remember learning something in my psy101 class about some people who score higher on their IQ tests tend to have more problems socially and that a lot of people in prison are very intelligent!. i can see how this makes sense because these people are on another level and understand things differently
have you ever been around people less smarter than you and you try to speak logically, if you will, and they are are like "dude, you're weird" and weird can mean crazy but in all actuallity you are just EFin smarter than those dumb a$ses
does that make sense!.!.!.

intelligence is a great thing, as long as it has an outlet!.!.!.however, if the intelligent individual has no outlet for their intelligence, then that will drive them insane!. If someone realizes they have something unique, and does not put it to any use!.!.!.then the life wasted feeling will drive people insane!.

It never equals it!. Just because one is smart does not mean they are unstable!.

However, it has been proven that there are links between people of higher intelligence than average and mental illnesses!.

This is especially prevalent in people who are smart and very artistic!.

It makes sense to me because people that are intelligent are rarely ignorant and this means that they are aware of the troubles that exist in the world, and because of this, they are more likely to be depressed or insane!.

In an odd sort of way since both are able to think "outside the box!." Intelligence leads to an ingenious way to see and solve an old problem in a way that benefits more people!. Insanity is allowing your success to go to your head where one thinks he is right and everyone else is wrong!. He cannot see the error in his thinking and becomes lost in his own mind!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I THINK that some people thought that Einstein was insaine!.!.!.so I guess intelligence equals insanity!. I mean, the smarter you are, the more you know and the more opinions you know and all the different aspects of a topic that contradict eachother could drive you insaine, I guess!.

It might!. I'm in med school!. And a lot of smart people are here!. In fact, the tests and tests and admission tests etc make sure you're smart to be in there!. So what's my conclusion!? We're all a bunch of masochistic bastards who smile when we are accepted into an institution that is going to constantly test us for the next six years of our lives (five more years for me)!. In fact, I was euphoric about it!. How smart/insane is that!?

But it depends in reality, obviously you don't go to the doctor expecting an insane person!. The people who are considered of higher intelligence are usually a little different from everyone else, but this doesn't mean they are crazy!. Just different!.

As a matter of fact, smarter kids develop socially slower than other kids (this is a generalization, as it is not universally applicable, but is very common)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
