Question: Analysis of the leaden eyed!?
Let not young souls be smothered out before
They do quaint deeds and fully flaunt their pride!.
It is the world's one crime its babes grow dull,
Its poor are ox-like, limp and leaden-eyed!.
Not that they starve; but starve so dreamlessly,
Not that they sow, but that they seldom reap,
Not that they serve, but have no gods to serve,
Not that they die, but that they die like sheep!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is a lament of sorts!. So many young people loose the energy and dreams as they age!. The babies grow dull!. They lose their sense of excitement and wonder!. Like an ox yoked to a plow they perform their duties, they go through life, without dreams!. Limp, standing there with no pride or reason to stand!. Leaden-eyed, with eyes that are heavy and weary!. Starving may be bad, but one should have the hope of something better!. Plant seeds, but get to reap the harvest!. Work but do so with a purpose!. We will all die, but be an individual and live before it is your time to die!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
