because these are Y/A's rules! they have set up this environment for us to interact in, however we have to abide by their rules!

They gave us guidelines to follow, which I doubt many have read ( i haven't)

It's the world that we live in, yes we have free will but even that has restrictions on it!. What you can do, is what you have done, get your message across by finding the loopholes, or using the system to your advantage!.

As some have pointed out, the problem is syntactical (pace Chomsky)!. Here, we communicate via the written language!. In normal (or, face-to-face) communication, we use other modes besides (spoken) language!. For instance, body language, the context -example, someone dies and the person next to you says, "Why!?"!. In the latter instance, the question is perfectly intelligible, mainly because of the context!. In this forum, however, similar modes are unavailable!. Therefore, "Why!?" seems incomplete as a question!.
