Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Very interesting question!. Two points for now!. 1!. Conceptually, the word 'cause' contains 'effect!.' So, we cannot reflect on the concept of cause w/o thinking about effect as well!. 2!. Tricky one - Not all actual causes have effects!. For instance, let's say, temporally the universe never ends!. also, let's assume that if and when universe ended, a new universe or Zeus would be born!. In a sense, we may say that the cause exists but its effect will never be realized!. I said 'tricky', because its not clear if the universe is really a cause if the effect of Zeus's birth never occurs!.
