Question: When people ask me what do i see myself in 3 or 5 or 10 years time!.!?
I find it hard to answer them!. I personally think i can't predict the future!. And i think if i work hard and smart now, luck will come and i will reap the benefit later!. You know, i'm just those guys that take one day at a time!. someone that goes with the flow!. And i'm someone that believes in destiny
Somehow when i answer them like above, i get weird looks and discouraging remarks!. What's your take on this!? honest and sincere comments please!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I know how difficult the question is!. When we are young there are no limits and answering the question is like shutting all doors but one!. What if it is the wrong one!? What if I am not ready to choose and I miss my "Aha!" moment!?
Even when you have made certain choices it is still difficult to declare that this is "the" path!. We still don't necessarily know that we have found our purpose!.
The question can feel like a leash around the neck!.
The problem that these people don't see is that they are looking back in time at all of their options and choices while you are facing a different direction!. They dont' understand the struggle!. No need to worry!. You are free to explore different options and don't need to declare one door the one path for you!. Truth be told, you will probably have four or five careers in your lifetime and each is part of your destiny!. The only one who will ever be able to tell you your destiny, will be you, about 40 years in the future!.
Good luck and happy exploring!.

I was exactly like that and I can claim that I have done rather well in my life!.!.!.!.!. but sincerely, I do realize now that I just happened to be lucky!.!.!.!.!. in the formative years of life, one must have some distant goal so as to be able to move in the right direction in life!.!.!.!. if at the young age itself, one gets philosophical about future being uncertain and Destiny being unchangeable, then one runs the risk of getting complacent or lazy and not trying enough to shape one's life as one would want to!.!.!.!. it can lead to compromising one's talents and capabilities due to untimely philosophic attitudes!.

The ultimate truth is that we regret more deeply for not trying enough, rather than for lack of success!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
