Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I never studied Boolean math, but if it means "either-or," then I agree it is Boolean!. "Partial awareness" of "something" as another answer talks about is not the subject!. It is "consciousness" per se, whether or not a mind has it!. Accordingly, "not-aware" necessarily means death or a state of mental vegetation!. And if I understand this correctly, then I also understand that all "objects of consciousness" [cognoscendi] are Boolean, because if they do not exist, they are not cognoscendi!.Www@QuestionHome@Com No!. You can be aware of something or not aware of that thing or may be partially aware (not the whole aspects)!. So in such a case, you may want to share your knowledge with someone and sometimes, you don't!. So its not a boolean concept!. As sky changes itself from very bright to very dark, same is the case the awareness!. When sky changes from dark to bright, there are several shades of brightness or darkness which can't be hold either in darkness ot brightness!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I think there's another issue hidden in this thought, which is of whether the objects of consciousness are also Boolean!. If they aren't, quantum mechanics is compatible with theism and the idea that all things are aware!. Consequently, this is an ethical issue, because there is no way of drawing a line between awareness and non-awareness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Intuitively I believe the logical structure of the concept as used in language involves this "either-or", even if the borderlines of consciousness may seem hazy in our experience, sometimes!. So at the moment I would say yes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com First define awareness!. !. !. !. Can't do it!? Not a nice crisp definition!? Then that answers your question!. Fuzzy concept!. Probabilistic!. Not true/false!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Boolean or Cognisant Quantum Truth works for all encompassing edicts applicable to all concurrent truths, all encompassing in all stratum of the universal realm!. This is the Absolute Truth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Not as clear cut as that!. As the great philosopher Donald Rumsfeld said, it's the unknown unknowns that get you!Www@QuestionHome@Com But you can be aware of vacuityWww@QuestionHome@Com |
