Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: A party is your opportunity -- at your expense too! -- to gather the people around you whose company you like or enjoy!. You do not have to invite people you don't like!. If you are accused of being a bigot, simply say that you invited your friends and that the person or group complaining is not a friend, but if they were interested in cultivating a friendship, you'd invite them to your next party!. You might also remind them that you've not been invited to certain peoples' party for the same reason -- they aren't my friends!. Now, I do think it is "bad form" to flaunt your guest list in front of others, including people not invited!. It can be hurtful to some to hear "Now, you're coming over, right!?" and know that the party excludes them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com A bigot!?
