Late Lament!.

Modern day physics say there is no reason that time has to go forward in terms of it's measure of entropy!. Put another way, there could be a parallel universe that co-exists with our universe where time goes backward along with a reverse form of entropy!. So in that sense time is an illusion!. Within our own universe it is said that if you travel at the speed of light that time will stand still for you!. So in that sense time is also an illusion!. Finally, if you believe in God's existence as being outside of our universe and indeed outside of any dimensions we may live in or even imagine, then God must be living in an everpresent moment or state of timelessness in which all of our realities containing time are nothing but an illusion on our part!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Since everyone recognizes its existence and acts accordingly, and your body seems to be affected by it, it would be best to assume it does!.

Time is a mental construct that exists only in our thinking minds!. It's an emergent effect of a bizillion electrical impulses in your brain!. We can talk about the past or future, we can imagine the past or future, some people can practically relive their past or future, but all of that happens in the mind and it happens right now!. The mental construct of time is useful for communicating plans, learning patterns (when I don't buy milk every time I go to the grocery store I tend to run out and that make breakfast cereal no fun to eat bleh), sharing stories etc etc but all of those uses happen NOW!.

If you think about it, "time" is really just a thing that we humans came up with!. We set seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years when all the Earth is doing is simply continuing what it's been doing since it's birth: rotating and floating around in space in a constant cycle!.

literally, time is measured by the earth's revolution around the sun and is divided into sub categories for more specific measurement!. so that means time on earth is different from the time in another place!. since we measure almost everything by time we have developed knowledge for the better of the civilization!. we use time in formulas to predict any movement, and is used in a dozen other formulas that supports the advances of society!. time is not irrelevant, but it never restsWww@QuestionHome@Com
