I don't understand why people would put Socrates down, that wasn't one of the options!. Anyways, I would pick both because each of them had various opinions which have shaped our society today!. It's hard to go through each of their impacts however, we know that thanks to them, we have a reason to think logically and to reason within our lives!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Plato, I've always been partial to the Allegory of the Cave!.
