In the example of Dr!. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Hyde represents the ego!. The doctor is the real person!. In psychology they wanted to say that we are egos!. But in spirituality, the ego is completely lost in illusion!. It's logical that Freud would accept the ego since he was atheist!.

The ego thinks we are bodies and separate from each other and God!. Spirit knows we are all drops of the same ocean, so to speak!. Being in conflict is like a wave arguing with the ocean!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i guess it is when you alter your ego to make something think that your that ur another person so i guess it would be like a second personality!. so if you read the book catch me if you can it is kinda easy to figure out what is a alter ego!. You alter ego is someone that is totally different from you!. It's the opposite of your personality!. If you are a totally honest person and is perpetually happy and perky; you're alter ego will be a liar, he/she will be depressing and mean!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
