It depends on which form of "idealism" you mean!.

How are they "suffering!." Or is their suffering merely what you think they are going through!?

Stan wrote: "The old "if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound!?" is an idealistic question!.
If you are an idealist then it doesnt!. If you are a realist, then it does!."

Normally, this question is defined as having to do with the definition of "sound!." That is as incorrect as Stan's definition, especially if you chose the 'wrong' "idealism" from that link I provided!.

That question has to do with the "primacy of consciousness" vs the "primacy of existence!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

How does one "suffer" from Idealism!?
Idealism, from the standpoint of philosophy is the belief that everything is subject to your "idea" of what it is!.
The old "if a tree falls in the forest, and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound!?" is an idealistic question!.
If you are an idealist then it doesnt!. If you are a realist, then it does!.
So now I ask again! How does one "suffer" from idealism!?
