Question: Do happy endings belong in fairy tales!?
Or in real life!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
the sickly over the top ones belong firmly in the realm of fantasy, but as little girls we were all read the stories of the handsome charming prince riding up on his white charger to rescue the damsel in distress, no wonder that we all grow up half expecting this to happen to us in real life LOLWww@QuestionHome@Com

Life doesn't have an ending - or if there is one, it's hard for the person with the perspective to then say if it was 'happy!.' :)

But to be a little less silly, real life is shaped by individuals and actions!. A story is predefined, it begins and ends where you want it to!. So it's hard to compare the two!.

But overall, I say: Life is what you do and what you create!. It's up to the individual (and the society they are in) to make life happy - if you appreciate things as they happen, help others, and enjoy days as they go by, then yes, happy endings belong in life, too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah this this is an interesting question a tricky too!!!

You know whether the ending is happy or sad it's for the effort we have put in!!A fairy tale is something meant for reading in leisure time and when it sounds sad people may not be interested to read!!

and coming to real life we have to take everything as a happy end including death!!

If you put in your effort you can harvest the better part of the field if your input is far below average you get the spoiled part of the field & if you mark them sad it's not onthe life but put the blame on you!!!

Never imagine of a sad end becase as you think the thing itself happens so try happy things only and be a perserving person!!!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, I have a theory !.!.!.

!.!.!. that the reason we find narrative (not just fairy tales, but Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings, the Odyssey !.!.!.) so powerful is because we are designed to respond to a particular narrative - with a hero, and a white-bearded (supposedly) powerful one, and betrayal, and resurrection and (ultimately) an ending where everyone gets what they deserve!. And that's not fiction - that's history!.

So the happy (or satisfying) endings that we like are to make us receptive to another account with a happy ending that will really happen!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A little bit in both!. The fairy tale happy ending is a fairly modern idea!. The majority of popular fairy tales were collected by the "Brothers Grimm," nowadays known simply as "Grimm's Fairy Tales!." They may have happy endings now, but the original Snow White, Hansel and Gretel, Rapunzel, Little Red Riding Hood, etc!. usually had a lot of violence and sex!. So yeah, a happy ending can be happy in fiction or reality, but the road there is not always pretty!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If by an ending we mean to say the results of our aspirations, hopes, efforts and expectations than all results belong to the real life we lead, and not to the fantasyland of our mind, not even to the world of our ideals, and fairytales is jus the nickname for these, derivative of our fabulous childhood notions!. Therefore, if the results, as well as the consequence of our actions, find their realisation in a realistic world then they too have to be just as real as anything else!.

Our ideals, or the fairy tale world of our childhood give us our sense of ultimate happiness, a state of mind that we then seek all our life just the way we seek all other fantastic notions in the mind in their absolute form!. What we find as result of our efforts is partial realisations, of all our senses of beauty, justice, peace and perfection, for instance!. It is easy to dream but it is difficult to have our dreams come true, it is easy to imagine happiness, however even this becomes hard, but it is difficult to find moments of perfect happiness!.

The fact of the matter is that this is exactly what life is all about!. Life however is never without ideal dream and fantasies of ideal worlds but in its reality it is about maturity, contentment and acceptance with gratitude of what we have so far, what stage we have come up to in life as a result of our actions and vital efforts!. This is what makes us all human and not inhabitants of some fairyland, that we find happiness even when it is not complete, we find contentment even thought our measure could much have more!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Both, C!. (You look lovely today, by the way!.)

Surveys indicate that most people - here in the States - are reasonably happy!. People like to complain but most of us have it pretty good!.

I just received a letter today from a girl I sponsor through a charity!. She's been praying that it rains enough so they'll have food!.

Most of us live happy endings if we just realize it!.

You are in control of your life!. If you want to be happy, you will be!.

Have a happy, C!. Drop by anytime!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
