Good question!. I think you're close!. I think that the spirit of a person is in ther heart, not there mind!. The mind is a logical thing and alot of the times a test of true spirit defys logic!. For ex: if a child id stuck in a burning building!.!. why would a person go in to save them!? it;s illogical as the person could die themselves!. However it is the spirit, the morals buil;t up and chained to the heart that would compel one to say: Someones in trouble I need to help!. And you know maybe it's not even the physcal heart ( a blood-pumping muscle) but rather the essence that a heart is made to symbolize the essence of life and love (or hate) in it's entirety!. I would like to believe so!. However, often times, until a significant, life-changing event occurs, a person will not realize that the mind does contain the " essence of Spirit "!. Our life experiences will allow our minds to be open and, the acknowledgment of " Spirit "!. Just my opinion and my own acceptance and awareness!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The spirit of man is part of, it is the life in man!. It's what makes man a living soul!. The mind is the battlefield of the spirit world!.
