Obedience has never been cool!.

Obedience and Rebellion are ends of a spectrum and most people have a hard time seeing beyond those choices!. Even when someone can understand that a decision is based on what works for your situation, not what the overlords will think, there is a nostalgia for the black and white of the obedience-rebellion continuum!.
