Question: Has the status of not being a sellout been oversold!?
Those who refuse to sellout are usually economically challenged!. They often lack enough money to live and pay bills responsibly or they must live from the resources of those who do sell out to an extent!. I'm not totally advocating being a sellout!. I just wonder if it is utterly unacceptable (from an ethical perspective) to be a semi-sellout!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

In some cases that's true - however, it's a choice one must make!. also, some people do not know how to live within their means (meaning they COULD live on their non-sellout income if they wanted to)!.

I don't think it's been oversold because not many people are buying (i!.e!. most people end up selling out)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think a sellout is someone who modifies thier art for profit!. Not someone who profits in their field for their art!. So if someone is great in their field and people respect them and they gain economical status from that, then it's not exactly selling out!. So I disagree!. I don't think those who refuse to sellout are usually economically challenged!.

Just those who do are usually unecessarily overfunded!. Which is greedy anyway, thus making being a sellout ethically unacceptable to some!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
