Belief in scarcity creates the appearance of it, but not the reality that we have all we need!. Guilt for past mistakes makes us believe that we don't deserve what we get and should be punished by not being part of the abundant life!. Therefore, I think jealousy is the result of our own state of mind!.!.!.!.!. further proof of this is the fact that two persons can be equally jealous of each other which is the conclusive proof that it is not based on any rational evaluation of who is better off!. A sense of insecurity and lack of self-esteem makes us feel as though the other person is better off and thus we get jealous!.
