My purpose is not to be significant TO the universe, nor to other life forms!. As your question states, my significance is IN the universe!. That said, my significance is only to myself, and I have always held these prose verses to be my creed:

In this universe, there are innumerable solar systems!. Out of so many solar systems, the one we live in is yet another solar system!. In this solar system, there are innumerable planets, among those planets, the earth is one of them!. Upon the earth there are so many habitated and inhabitated lands!. I am living in one of the habitated lands!. Of all the habitated lands there are so many countries!. Out of so many countries, India is one of the countries!. In India there are again so many cities and towns!. I am living in one of the cities!. In the city I live in called Secunderabad there are so many colonies and streets!. I am living in a small colony!. In the colony I live in there are so many houses, bungalows and flats!. I live in one such house!. In my house there are so many people living!. Shouldn't you be asking how significant you feel you are in your own universe!? Your life is based on your own perception and your personal belief upon where you fit within that!. Everything exists in context with everything else!. The temporary organism that 'I' am may not seem significant, but its energy is eternal!.
