Question: Does pornography cause men to have a debased view of women and sex!?
Does pornography objectify women or present sex as something ugly and "nasty"!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I believe it does objectify women, though it doesn't treat sex as something ugly or nasty, it does make it a commodity and takes all of the intimacy out of the image of sexual union!. There is usually very little if any closeness between the people in x-rated films, no eye contact, no intimacy, no connection!. My husband started watching them to get "warmed up" as he put it, since he's in his 50's and felt he needed some help!. We watch together, but I can't get the same reaction he does out of it!. I find that he has become more likely to try positions that imitate those in the films, which may seem kinky and intersting, but completely lack intimacy and closeness!. I miss that alot!. Those positions are purely so that the camera can get a good shot and they really aren't all that great in reality!.

On the other hand, men are usually extremely visual in their intake of information--what comes in through the eyes is processed much more quickly by brain and body than through any other senses (not all, but most men)!. And I can understand biologically why pornography has this kind of effect on them!. On the other hand, I lie there feeling quite self-conscious because I look absolutely nothing like the women in those films and never will!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's been said a lot, so, the "common wisdom" is yes to both your questions!. In reality, I disagree wholeheartedly!. Pornography reflects an intensity of sexual desires and interactions, and if the pornography is full of pics of women, then, from my point of view, it is focused on arousing men, which, it does!. There is a point, however, where the physical well being of the participants, male or female, can become jeopardized, and, at that point I would object to it, not because of what it supposedly does to women, but because of what it may do to either or all participants!. God Bless you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

NO IT PORTRAYS SEX AS A ANIMISTIC THING , IT TAKES ALL LOVE AND RELATIONSHIP OUT AND TURNS IT INTO IN HEAT MATING !. IT TAKES ALL MEANING OUT OF SEX AND MAKES IT AS COMMON AS EATING , OR DRINKING ( WHICH TAKE NO THOUGHT )Www@QuestionHome@Com
