If you expect others to be able to follow directions and take directions; you also must be able to follow directions and take directions!.

If you expect others to be the follower and you the leader; you must also be able to be the follower and let someone else be the leader!.

Why is this important!?

everyone is made differently as if they're going to be leaders or followers 'some are born with it' and just like you said one must listen for directions and follow and then we can give and make others follow!. i think tht we must learn to be followers in order to say tht you want to be a leader!.

I agree 100% with ali, although I would like to embellish o the fact that you need to know when to use them!. Some people like to be the boss of big groups, some smaller!. If your trying to lead a big group AND somebody else is, then I think that you need to back off just a tad and see where things go from there!. You don't ALWAYS need to be the leader!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If we let go of our ego!.!.!.we will learn ourselves through others!. To be a leader you must not have any hate, biases,or a need to be superior and desire to control or manipulate!. You will not judge but be able to understand what fear can really do to people!. Fear brings hate!. See the world in a loving way!. Understand that the world is really full of followers not leaders!.
