You can reasonably work out the existence of some form of gaseous life on a planet somewhere, although reasonable, the life-form is only imaginary!.

Authors invent reasonable characters for their novels every day - they are only real in the sense that they are realistic - that which has the characteristics of reality!.

Take the reasonable reconstructions of dinosaurs in recent movies!. They are not real, though they are based on the facts as we (science) perceive them!. Their reality, however, may have been drastically different!.

By the way, that which is real is not necessarily reasonable either!. Take the reality of that Austrian father keeping his own daughter in a secret basement for over 20 years and fathering her children - is that reasonable!? If he wins his plea of insanity through the courts then that reality could be legally defined as unreasonable too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't agree with the first part!.!.!.not everything that is real is reasonable!. As for the second part, not all that is reasonable has to be real, either!. What is "real"!? Real is sometimes subjective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
