Einstein realized most people are too lazy to educate themselves or think for themselves!. Most people I have ever met look for the easiest, simplest, fastest answers!. Look, in philosophy I believe that there's a point beyond truth, I mean you can't take anything for granted - you just believe it!. As far as this statement is concerned, I believe that our great mistake is to take the authority as truth rather than the truth as the authority!. People always have a specific goal and so they act in a proper manner to achieve it!. They usually lie and tell you whatever they know you want to hear for personal gain!. This is what happens when we blindly respect and trust someone, not only the authority but anyone!. For example, look how many people answered to this question claiming that "Einstein was so so genius how could he be wrong - ofc he is right"!.!.!. And it may be so but the point is to THINK before you judge whats truth or what you want to believe as being true and not blindly trust someone - no one is right at everything!. Well, as for my personal beliefs, its not the unthinking respect for authority that is the greatesr enemy of truth but the unthinking respect itself!.
